Dr. Clint Stengel

Born in west Texas, Dr. Clint Stengel was raised in a small town southwest of Houston. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin, before moving back to Houston to attend The University of Houston College of Optometry where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree as well as his Optometric Glaucoma Specialty.

After graduation, he quickly moved back to Central Texas where he served as an officer of the Central Texas Optometric Society. Dr. Stengel currently serves on the clinical advisory board for half Helen, a Central Texas non profit that provides students from low income schools with free eye care and glasses.

In his free time, Dr. Stengel and his wife enjoy camping, UT sports, and brewing their own craft beer.

Hi! My name is Mariam, and I have been working as an optician at Cedar Rock Vision Center ever since April of 2023 and have been loving it since. I like meeting new people from different walks of life and creating a genuine connection with people both on and off the clock. I have lived in Austin all my life and my favorite places are Zilker park, Barton springs pool and some amazing tacos at Magnolia Cafe. I enjoy hanging out with friends, especially my friends’ cats and dogs, sometimes even more so. Currently studying at ACC to get my associates degree, I definitely hit the books hard with my amazing cat Queso helping out by my side.
